I am pleased to announce that Suman Muddusetti has been appointed by MTS as the Chairman of the Marine Technology Society Dynamic Positioning Committee. 

Suman has long been an active member of the Committee and was the founder of the Guidance and Standards subcommittee. He has been chairman of that subcommittee since its inception.

Guidance and Standards has an impressive membership of industry leaders and is the most productive group within the DP Committee. Suman is well known worldwide for the international workshops he pioneered, which are always in high demand everywhere. 

I am sure we all share pride in Suman’s many contributions to the DPC and look forward with confidence to working with Suman in the Chairman role.

It has been a pleasure to work with members of DPC since its founding in 1996; we have achieved a lot.
