The workshop will follow a similar format as previous years with participants working in small groups. Experienced personnel will facilitate as table coaches and provide mentoring to each group as needed. Results and conclusions from the workshop will be summarized and presented to the MTS DP Technical Committee and to DP conference participants at the conference lunch on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022.

Imperative to Close the Gap (perceived and/or real) between integrity of OPEN and CLOSED Bus-tie power systems.
Panel Session: Panel discussion with representatives from Class, Vessel Technical Operators, Independent 3rd Party Verifiers, Original Equipment Manufacturers, and end users to share their perspectives on the challenges and solutions to close the integrity gaps between OPEN and CLOSED bus tie operations.
Work Group: Following the panel session, table workgroups will further identify (2) OPEN/CLOSED Bus Tie integrity gaps, (2) roadblocks that come in the way of closing of these gaps, (3) responsibilities of various industry stakeholders, (4) what can you, as a member of the DP community do?

MTS DP TECHOP on DP Redundancy Concept Philosophy Document – Case Studies & TECHOP Review
Case studies presentation and a guided review of the TECHOP.
Work Group: Following the case studies presentation and TECHOP guided review, table workgroups will review of the TECHOP thru the lens of insights of the case studies provided and provide insights and feedback on whether or not the value delivered by the MTS DP Redundancy Concept TECHOP is worth the efforts.
4:30 PM Conclusion of the workshop
Registration is $200 for Conference attendees and MTS members or $250 for non-MTS members not attending the Conference.
Workshop attendance is limited to 90. Registration is separate from the Conference registration.
