The Call for Abstracts is now open for the 2026 MTS Dynamic Positioning Conference. This year’s conference will feature three days of informative, cutting-edge presentations, exhibits, and networking opportunities, designed to encourage open discussion and the exchange of knowledge, experience, and lessons learned across the DP community.
The event includes a one-day workshop, followed by a two-day technical conference. The conference provides DP professionals with the opportunity to stay current on the latest technologies, applications, and changes impacting Dynamic Positioning.
Deadline to submit your abstract is May 1, 2026.
Suggested topics include:
- From Compliance to Capability: Risk Intelligence for High-Performance DP Operations
- Data-Enabled System Assurance: Verification, Validation, and Decision Confidence
- Advances in DP Technology: Thrusters, Power Systems, Sensors, and Digital Twins
- Practical Applications of AI and Machine Learning in DP Design and Operations
- Cyber-Resilient DP Systems and Software Integrity
- Enhancing Human Performance in DP: Integrating Operators and Technology
- Turning Experience into Advantage: Incident Insights and Field-Proven Case Studies
- Energy-Efficient DP and Emissions Reduction Through Operational Design
- Expanding the Operating Envelope: DP Innovation in Complex and High-Consequence Environments
Papers must be original in content and will be for the exclusive use of the MTS DP Committee. Those selected to present will address a highly engaged and knowledgeable audience.
In addition, papers presented at the conference will be part of a comprehensive library of DP material accessible on the website.
