This year’s theme invites our community to make the Upside Pivot: evolving from risk work that is primarily focused on preventing downside to risk intelligence that enables performance, creating options, accelerating confident decisions, and expanding what is operationally possible. This is not a retreat from standards. It is the disciplined use of strong controls, deep expertise, and cumulative risk understanding to build speed, resilience, and predictable high performance.
